What does CONNY do?
We are a LegalTech and automatically enforce cases in consumer law for our customers. The services are billed on a success-based basis, so the customer only pays if they are successfully completed and has no cost risk when placing the order. We also bear the court costs. There is an exception with the current account product, here the customer can choose from three remuneration models. The range of services is constantly being expanded and we currently have around 60k unique users per month on the site. All of our services have a cancellation period of 14 days, so payments will only be made after this period.
The products
1. Rental price brake
We enforce the rent control for customers and reduce the rent by an average of 200 euros per month. The customer only has to provide their personal data and some information about the apartment and the rental agreement and can then sit back and relax. We take care of the rest of the process. A commission is only charged for the service if it is successful (95.5% success rate). This amounts to 4 times the savings from the successfully enforced rent control. In most cases, this can be offset against claims for repayment from the landlord. The rental price brake applies in 12 federal states in cities and communities with a tight housing market. 2. Termination
We help customers to take action against unlawful terminations and to win an appropriate severance payment. Here, too, the customer only pays in the event of success (100% success rate and an average of more than €4,000 compensation). If CONNY achieves a severance payment, only a previously agreed contingency fee is due. This is calculated from the amount of the severance payment. CONNY bears all legal and court costs. Since an action for protection against unfair dismissal can only be filed 3 weeks after receipt of the notice of termination, it is important to act quickly.

3. Account Fees
On April 27, 2021, the Federal Court of Justice ruled (Az. XI ZR 26/20) that banks are not allowed to change their terms and conditions (General Terms and Conditions) without the explicit consent of the customer.
Consumers who have unjustly paid account management fees in recent months and years do not have to accept this. However, enforcing the claim can be complicated and time-consuming.
With our innovative service, we help customers to get their rights in just a few minutes. With the help of our CONNY algorithm, we determine the value of the claim and make the customer an offer to assign the claim.
